The effects of ESC on battery capacity are studied. Figure S1 shows the ESC test platform. The ESC tests are conducted under 20°C by using the 18650-type NMC (Li-Ni-Mn-Co-oxide) Li-ion cells, the specifications of which are given in Table S1.
